Do you light up on camera? Do you love working with children and know how to make learning feel like play?

Nao Now is hiring energetic, engaging Native English Mentors to teach 1-on-1 online lessons to students ages 5–12 in South Korea.

Each lesson is 25 minutes and fully built for you — interactive, gamified, and designed to boost speaking confidence. Your role is to bring warmth, clarity, and personality to every session while helping students feel comfortable and excited to return.

This is an independent contractor position.

What You’ll Do

• Lead engaging 25-minute 1-on-1 English lessons

• Create a fun, encouraging environment where children feel confident speaking

• Follow our structured, ready-made curriculum (no prep required)

• Build consistent rapport with students over time

• Deliver high-energy, professional sessions on camera

Compensation

• $18–$20 USD per hour

• Paid per completed 25-minute lesson

• Compensation based on performance, evaluation results, and experience

• All materials provided — no prep time required

Note: Training and onboarding are unpaid.

Elite Mentor compensation ranges from $18–$20 per hour, based on relevant experience, teaching clarity, market conditions, engagement, professionalism, and alignment with Nao Now’s quality standards. Placement within the range reflects Final Evaluation performance and overall instructional strength.

Requirements

• Native English speaker

• Bachelor’s degree (or currently enrolled in a BA program)

• Confident, engaging on-camera presence

• Experience working with children (teaching, tutoring, coaching, performing arts, youth programs, etc.)

• Reliable wired internet connection (minimum 60 Mbps)

• Quiet, professional teaching environment

• Noise-cancelling headset recommended

• Availability for 7–10 hours per week during peak Korea hours (7:00–10:00 PM KST)

• Minimum 3-month commitment to assigned students
